About Us
Nuu Technical and Vocational College is located in Nuu market, Mwingi East Sub-County in Kitui County. The centre opened its doors in 1981 as a typing and commercial College. In 1984 the school was registered under social services in Kitui. Sr. Anne Considine who was heading the institution went back to Ireland in 1985 and Sr. Carmel Burke came to replace her.
During Sr. Veronica’s time, the school grew tremendously resulting in the construction of student hostels, the addition of more classes, a staff house and a dining hall.
